Many people are not short of information. They are short of clarity. Advice from different sources can create more options without helping a person decide which option fits their values, responsibilities and current stage.Personal mentorship creates space to examine the full context. A mentor listens, challenges assumptions and helps separate an important goal from a distracting one. The process is collaborative: the learner owns the decision, while the mentor brings questions, perspective and structure.
Useful mentorship should end in action. A clear priority, a realistic timeline and a review point make progress visible. When the plan is personal, it becomes easier to follow consistently.
